Laser Mole, Warts & Skin Tag Removal with iPixel Laser
Our iPixel laser effectively targets benign growths like skin tags, moles and seborrheic keratosis. It removes these growths safely by breaking them down through controlled laser energy, promoting smoother, clearer skin.
Regarding mole removal, please note; we will need written confirmation from your GP that you have had the mole(s) checked for irregularities and they have been confirmed benign, before commencing with this treatment.

Laser Mole Removal + Biopsy
If you have not yet had your mole checked by your GP and would like us to send it off for a biopsy for you instead, this is a service we also provide.
For removal of large moles that are due to be biopsied, we use the Quicklase laser; a fibre optic diode laser that requires no stitches/suturing. The laser removes the mole in its entirety, with very minimal (if any) scarring. The removed mole will then be sent off to a lab to detect for any irregularities.

What types of moles can be removed with laser mole removal?
Laser mole removal is effective for non-cancerous, superficial moles that are either flat or raised. However, a thorough consultation is necessary to determine if laser treatment is appropriate for your specific mole.
Can this treatment remove skin tags?
Yes, our laser therapy is a quick and effective method for removing skin tags with minimal discomfort and downtime.
Can you remove multiple moles/skin tags/warts in one session?
Yes, it's often possible to remove multiple moles during a single session. The first mole is £325 and we charge £125 per additional mole. Your practitioner will advise on the best approach during your consultation.
Does the treatment hurt?
Patients may feel mild discomfort similar to a pinprick. A numbing agent can be applied to minimise pain.
How long does it take to heal?
This method is fast healing in comparison to traditional mole removal methods and you should expect the area to be fully healed within 2-3 weeks.
Is there any downtime with this treatment?
No. There is no downtime with our benign growth removal treatment. You can expect the are to be fully healed within 2-3 weeks.
How do I know if my mole is safe to remove?
Before removal, it’s important to determine if a mole is benign (harmless) or potentially cancerous. If the mole is deemed safe by your GP, our laser removal can be performed for a smooth and scar-minimised result. We will need written confirmation from your GP before performing the treatment.
If you have been unable to have your mole checked with your GP, we can remove the mole with our Quicklase laser and send it off to be biopsied for you.

Will it leave a scar?
Whilst traditional removal methods involve scalpels and stitches, our lasers require no stitches/suturing. Instead, the laser removes the growth in its entirety, with extremely minimal (if any) scarring.
How many sessions will I need to remove a mole, wart or skin tag?
In most cases, one session is enough to remove the lesion in its entirety. For deeper moles, warts, or larger skin tags, 1-3 sessions may be advised.
How do I know if my skin tag needs removing?
Skin tags are harmless but may be removed for cosmetic reasons or if they cause irritation, especially in high-friction areas.
How do I know if the treatment is suitable for me?
There are lots of different types of moles and most of them are treatable. Moles can be coloured or clear; flat or raised or a combination of both.
You will need to undergo a full facial consultation, in which Dr Khanna will assess your skin, mole and choose the most appropriate action.
Biopsies and GP liaising may be required dependent on individual case.
Is the treatment suitable for all skin types?
Laser treatments can be adjusted for different skin types, but individual assessments are crucial. Certain skin tones may have a higher risk of pigmentation changes. A consultation will help determine suitability.
