70 Clinics in the UK close as healthcare group collapses

Skin Clinic operator SK:N has collapsed

70 UK Clinics close and 800 jobs lost as healthcare group collapses

Staff were told on Wednesday 17th July that the group’s 70 branches around the UK were closing immediately. SK:N had more than 450 consultants, doctors, nurses and medical practitioners operating across England and Scotland.

The shut down of the dermatology, anti-ageing, laser hair removal and tattoo removal specialist was communicated in an email to customers with no warning and advised them to visit its website for more information. However, there was no information regarding its administration, and telephone lines have ceased to work. The website has since been taken down.

With patients having appointments cancelled and staff turning up to work to find that they have no job, this closure is set to impact thousands of people.
