HIFU Skin Tightening
Advanced HIFU skin tightening for the face and body with Dual-Hi at DrBK
Turn back the clock with Dual-Hi; an advanced HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) skin tightening treatment, designed to minimise the signs of ageing.
Dual-Hi is the only non-invasive treatment that is able to reach as deep as the SMAS layer of the skin, which is made up of collagen, elastin fibres and fat cells. The SMAS is the layer a surgeon would typically stretch as part of an invasive surgical face-lifting procedure.
This treatment enables you to boost new collagen production right at the source; the most effective for long-term skin tightening and rejuvenation. Its an excellent option compared to a surgical facelift as it is non-invasive, quick, very tolerable and has no downtime.
Please find below more information on this treatment, including before and after results.

HIFU Skin Tightening FAQs
How does the Dual-Hi HIFU treatment work?
Our Dual Hi HIFU treatment works using ultrasound energy to target layers of skin beneath the surface. The ultrasound energy causes tissue to heat up rapidly. As the skin cells heat up, they experience damage that produces collagen.
This collagen increase then results in tighter firmer skin with fewer wrinkles. With our high-frequency ultrasound beams focused below the skin’s surface, there is no sign of damage to the upper layers at all.
As the only non-invasive skin tightening treatment that can reach as deep as the SMAS layer of skin and focus on specific target locations, our HIFU treatment delivers the most effective and long-term skin tightening possible.
What areas does a HIFU skin tightening treatment cover?
Our Dual-Hi HIFU skin tightening can help with various areas of the face and body. You can benefit from full facelifts, eyebrow lifting, and skin tightening on the hips, stomach, thighs and more. Speak to our team about how our simple procedure can benefit you.
How long does a HIFU treatment with Dual-Hi take?
Depending on the area you are having treated, you could find your appointment lasting anything from 30-90 minutes. Our expert consultants will be able to give you a detailed breakdown of the procedure and how long it takes in your bespoke consultation.
Does HIFU skin tightening hurt?
Some people say that HIFU skin tightening is like feeling tiny electric pulses or light prickly sensations when it is carried out. At Dr BK, our Dual-Hi is quicker than most other HIFU treatments, thanks to the dual transducers our applicator functions with. In most HIFU treatments, only one, singular transducer is in operation. This means that at Dr BK, your procedures are faster and therefore, less painful.
Are there any side effects from HIFU with Dual-Hi?
We pride ourselves on our careful approach to our work and only allow expert, trained professionals to complete the work. This results in a more effective procedure and one with less complications. You may sense some light tingling on the treated area for a few weeks and on rare occasions, you may notice a slight bruising or numbness to the area although this will clear after just a few days.
How often will I need a HIFU treatment with Dual-Hi before I see results?
You should see results after your treatment but due to Dual-Hi HIFU treatments being collagen stimulating, you will see the results develop until 3-months post-procedure. Best results are normally seen after having 1-3 treatments, normally carried out every 4-6 weeks. Top-ups can then be performed if required once or twice a year.
How long does HIFU last?
You get long-lasting results from HIFU treatment with our Dual-Hi procedure. You can see results lasting 1-2 years in most cases.
Can I see HIFU before and after pictures to see how Dual-Hi works?

Why choose Dual-Hi over other HIFU treatments?
